What Is That Weird ‘Gollum’ Monster Photographed In The Chinese Hills?

A Chinese tourist has taken what he says is a photo of a “monster” hiding in the valleys of Huairou, in the north of Beijing.

The unnamed holidaymaker was camping with some friends in the hilly region, not far from the Great Wall of China, when he saw the “creature”.

Generation Exorcist pet peeve: Why do some people feel it necessary to draw a bold red circle around something in a photo that’s so clear and obvious that the viewer can’t help but see it? In this case was there a fear that we’d miss the creature crouching in plain sight directly in the center of the photograph? I honestly can’t tell if these circles are drawn in earnest or sarcastically.
