The Demonologist And The Exorcist: How Do They Differ?

There has been much confusion for decades, at the very least, as to how the role of a Demonologist differs from the role of an Exorcist. Demonology and Exorcism have often been used interchangeably when referring to cases of the possession of individuals by non-human spirits, however, their jobs (while there is some overlap and while they do assist each other), are very different.
