If You Could Get A Steep Bargain, Would You Purchase A Stigmatized Property Where Something Creepy Occurred?

A house where a macabre occurrence took place can be seen two ways for a potential real estate buyer:

a)      It’s a place to avoid because of the creepiness factor. As a potential property owner, I will look elsewhere.

b)      Ghosts? Phewy! It’s a potential bargain property waiting to happen and a place that can be purchased at a steep discount and resold for a profit.

But would you be willing to live in a home, such as the famous “Amityville” house in New Jersey that has been depicted in books and movies since the 1970s?
