Scotland is a small, if somewhat eccentric country, with a population at the 5 million mark, and it’s also a strong contender for the crown of Most Haunted Country In The World. With a violent and brutal history, it has given rise to some of the most compelling and romanticised ghost stories the Internet has ever seen, and some of its cities are so steeped in ghostly history that they have a thriving ghost tour trade.
