Chupacabra: Myth or Monster?

The Chupacabra has gone from a speculated new species to a notorious monster. So lets get down to the Chupacabra facts. The Chupacabra now sits alongside with other mythical monsters like Bigfoot, sea monsters, and even fire breathing dragons. The legend of the Chupacabra has become so wide spread, its getting harder for people to say the creature doesn’t exist.
The Chupacabra has become so widely known with the help of the internet age. The media and the net certainly have brought up a lot coverage on the Chupacabra in the past 15 years. The legend of the creature may actually have started years before. Looking back on several newspaper articles in the US, way back in the 1950’s there were very similar incidents, of farm animals being killed and drained of their blood that some believe was the Chupacabra. These incidents however, didn’t receive much attention.
It wasn’t until 1995 in Puerto Rico, the Chupacabra started receiving some real media attention on the worldwide scale. For some all the speculation has turned to belief. The name Chupacabra or “El Chupacabra” is Spanish for “goat sucker” after multiple incidents of live stock being completely drained of blood.
