The skin-walker is said to be a witch that is able to turn into an animal, according to Navajo culture. In the baffling video, a strange four-legged animal is seen perching near a boulder. Its back looks almost haunched – giving it an appearance unlike a normal creature. But it then crawls off over a ledge and seems to transform into some sort of big cat.

The video has been seen more than 259,000 times since it was posted to Facebook in January.
