The Loch Ness monster, not yet discovered by the scientific community
and never spotted in broad daylight, was on the hunt list of the
National History Museum in London. A 1934 letter by an unnamed official
at the museum had detailed instructions on the capturing and displaying
of the mythical creature in the museum.
The documents have been exposed by David Clarke’s new book, “Britain’s X-traordinary Files.” The Loch Ness monster had not been deemed a myth back then, and there were serious contentions over who got to claim the beast.
