North Lincolnshire has its fair share of spooky goings-ons with a number of the area’s most established venues said to be haunted.
It also seems to do a good trade in animal spirits. Apparently a white, headless calf known as the Lackey Causey ghost comes out from under a tunnel over a stream between Wrawby and Brigg to entice unwary passers-by into the water.
And ghost horses supposedly prance along the surface of the Trent, near where it meets the Humber, while another phantom steed has been spotted galloping out of Buckingham Avenue in Scunthorpe.
