The Enfield Horror

The Enfield Horror, as intimidating as its name does sound, was a terrifying three-legged, slimy gray monster, demon, cryptid or mutant (no one exactly knows what) that haunted the little town of Enfield in southeast Illinois during the 1970s.  What gives this case astonishing credibility is the number of witnesses, including very reputable ones, and the accurate similarity of the descriptions.
