In an eerie string of vampire-esque attacks on poultry, villagers in suburban Pudong are on the watch for a mysterious animal believed to have killed nearly 200 chickens and ducks in the last few weeks.
According to NetEase, the animal has only left one startling clue – a four toed footprint embedded in mud, about the size of a child’s hand.
Villagers have suspected that the animal is an escapee from Shanghai Wild Animal Park, a short 2km distance away, but the park has reported that none of its animals are missing – and they don’t even have a single chupacabra anyway.
