Most people know of Thomas Edison, but most do not know about one of his most peculiar inventions. Thomas Edison worked to create a spirit phone or a device that allowed the listener to hear voices of those who had passed. This is largely unknown because of a missing journal that was recently recovered and is to be revealed in France this week.
The original book, “Diary and Sundry Observations, ” in its last chapter, spoke of this invention. However, when it was published in England, this invention would have been considered Occult in nature, and was mysteriously expunged from the published copy.
Between those who had heard of the invention, it was originally thought that this “spirit phone” was a joke of Edison’s because before now, there had been no evidence of any trial inventions, and overall no proof to substantiate the claim.
