Okay, I am getting very, very sick of seeing this clip being passed off as real. It is not real. It’s from the movie Big Man Japan.
It is not a real giant.
It is not a real Nephilim.
It’s not a real ogre or oni.
It’s just a movie clip.
It’s like when people were spreading around a still of the alien from the movie Xtro claiming it to be a skinwalker. And don’t even get me started on the amount of clips from fictional Bigfoot movies people have tried to pass off as “real footage”.
As a huge horror movie fan, I spot the fakes every time and it pisses me off because they do nothing good for the reputation of paranormal and cryptid research.
Now I know most folks aren’t looking to perpetrate a hoax or fool anyone. They sincerely believe in the paranormal and want to think clips like these are real, but nothing should be accepted at face value. Before re-posting something claiming it’s real, just do a little research first. You may be innocently helping to spread a hoax. Remember: the greatest debunker in history is called Google.
